What is natural burial?

Natural burial is a more sustainable alternative to traditional graveyard or cemetery. Instead of embalming, metal coffins or concrete vaults, biodegradable materials are used such as a cardboard coffin, wicker basket or shroud.

Natural burials are a simple, eco-friendly way of returning a body to the earth and suit people who want nature-centred goodbyes with minimal environmental impact.

They’re often positive and peaceful places to visit, surrounded by wildlife and nature.

Our site

We aim to make the site a beautiful and tranquil final resting place for loved ones and a tranquil place for close friends and family to visit during what is a very challenging time, we hope to make the difficult experience of losing a loved one a little bit easier by creating an inviting environment surrounded by nature.

Who will be looking after your loved one?

Our family caring for yours

We are a family run business, passionate about sustainability and conservation. We wanted to offer others a beautiful and peaceful final resting place in nature, in perpetuity.

The team consists of James, Clair, George and Emily. James and George maintain the footpaths all year round and make sure the site is looking its best and any plaques are tended to. Although the site is wild and natural, all public areas are well maintained for a pleasant visiting experience.
